A Wake County native, Doug is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate of NC State University, with a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. Prior to joining Linda in real estate in July of 2006, Doug spent 14 years in the areas of oil exportation, corporate recruiting, and the transformation of Jacobs Custom Cabinets & Design Company into one of the Triangle’s largest custom cabinetry and millwork shops.
He brought a wealth of knowledge and skills to his position of Chief Operating Officer for The Jacobs Team. Like Linda, Doug is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors® (RRAR) and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors® (TCAR).
He is very active in Green Level Baptist Church, where he serves as Deacon, Chair of the Church Building Renovations/Expansion Committee, and Sunday School Teacher. Doug is a past President of the Fuquay-Varina Athletic Association (FVAA) Board of Directors and he is past Head Commissioner of FVAA Baseball. Doug’s community outreach includes coaching Little League Baseball, the donation of reading books to a local Kindergarten, support of individual and church-sponsored missions, and support of the Family Violence & Rape Crisis Center of Chatham County.
A Wake County native, Linda attended NC State University before embarking upon a 20 year corporate career as a systems analyst and data base administrator and project team manager.
She entered the real estate industry in 1992, garnering awards for sales leadership all along the way. Linda is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors® (RRAR), the Realtors® Land Institute (RLI), and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors® (TCAR). She has obtained the designations of Graduate, Realtor® Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and is currently pursuing the designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Accredited Land Consultant (ALC).
Linda is a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church, where she is a Bible Study Teacher and a member of the Church Council. Linda’s community outreach includes the donation of reading books to a local Kindergarten, support of individual and church-sponsored mission ministries, support of a local homeless shelter, and support of the Family Violence & Rape Crisis Center of Chatham County.
