Born and raised in Raleigh, I tried to make a career of college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After dragging it out for as long as I could, they finally awarded me a diploma in Industrial Relations and sent me back to Raleigh where I’ve been ever since.
I have been in the real estate business since 1999. During that time I've seen significant changes in both the market and technology. Consumers are privileged to a bounty of information now. One of my most important roles in working with a client is to help them interpret the data that they find and utilize it to make an informed decision, not an educated guess. I know this area like the back of my hand. We are fortunate to live in a vibrant and beautiful area that has long been a desirable destination for all that it offers and the appeal only seems to increase every year. Having lived here as a child, college student, single, married, and married with children, I can truly understand what you might be looking for regardless of your personal circumstances.
My wife Terri is also a native and we have two daughters, Carson and Natalie as well as our four-legged adopted mix, Sam. It’s my goal to make the process of buying or selling a home as stress-free as possible and an overall positive experience. In the process, hopefully we can have a few laughs along the way.
See what John's clients have to say about working with him:
John has been my agent for 15 years, since I was 21. He is the best agent, and person you could ask for. He isn't worried about his commission like some agents are, he just wants to get you the house you want, and he knows the area very well. John is always there for me when I need his advice about anything. I consider him a great friend, not just my realtor.
