Wakefield Plantation: Located in the northern most part of Raleigh, Wakefield Plantion offers 18 holes of golf designed by veteran PGA TOUR player Hale Irwin as well as a Sports Club with three swimming pools, tennis courts, a 9 hole practice golf course and so much more. Wakefield offers a wide range of homes from custom homes along the fairway to townhomes with all the amenities and new homes are still being built. Raleigh

North Ridge: The North Ridge Country Club features two 18-hole golf courses that were designed by Gene Hamm and George Cobb and later updated by John LaFoy. These courses are sure to offer both challenge and playability for golfers at all skill levels. Brier Creek   The 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course at Brier Creek Country Club was recently recognized as one of the top 40 golf courses in the state by North Carolina Magazine. Wildwood Green  Wildwood Green Golf Club is an upscale Semi-Private golf facility with 18 masterful holes and includes a driving range, a putting green, a chipping area and practice bunker. Hedingham The Hedingham Golf Club is conveniently located just a little more than 3 miles from downtown Raleigh, North Carolina and golfing privileges are included with the homeowner’s dues. This 18-hole course was designed by David Postlewaite. This neighborhood is one of the most affordable golfing neighborhoods in the state with townhomes less than $100K and small single-family homes starting in the $130’s.

Eagle Ridge was designed by 1992 US Open Champion Tom Kite. And he did much more than just lend his famous name to the project. It’s estimated he made almost two dozen trips to the course during its development. This par 71, 6,904-yard track, set in a spectacular, wooded rolling terrain about 15 miles from Raleigh, North Carolina is a challenging and rewarding test for players of all skills levels since it opened in October 2000. This 800+ homesite community still has new construction starting in the $270’s

Wake Forest

HasentreeThis Tom Fazio designed golf course has a straight-forward layout that favors those with a deft touch more maybe more than just power off the tee. Set next to Certified Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, the views are spectacular. Luxurious homes are priced from the $300’s to over 1 million. Wake Forest

Heritage Designed by world class architect Bob Moore of JMP Golf Designs group, this course is rated 4.5 stars by both Golf Digest Best Places to Play and North Carolina Magazine. The North Carolina Golf Panel consistently ranks Heritage in the Top 25 and for Leisure and Business in the Top 5. The par 72 18-hole course is the centerpiece of the Heritage Country Club and neighborhood. They also offer a Swim and Tennis club, greenway parks and a soccer complex. With over 30 communities surrounding the course, this neighborhood is still building with townhomes ranging from 180’s to 400’s and Single Family Homes from the $280’s to $600’s. Wake Forest 

Olde Liberty: Olde Liberty Golf Club offers a thrilling 18-hole, championship layout that meanders through some of the most beautifully forested terrain in the Triangle area. Co-designed by architects Michael Gleason of Pinehurst and Joel Moulin of Apex, the course at Olde Liberty stretches to 7,200 from the championship tees, but also offers a variety of challenges through its four other sets of tees. Chapel Hill

Governors Club: One of Chapel Hill, North Carolina’s premiere private, gated communities set atop Edwards Mountain has a 27-hole golf course personally designed by Jack Nicklaus, plus a driving range and six practice facilities. This neighborhood has a Custom Home program, multi-million dollar homes sitting on over 2 acres overlooking the fairways, single family homes and even townhomes starting in the mid-$200’s.  Chapel Hill

The Preserve at Jordan Lake:  Designed by Davis Love III, it was voted one of America’s Top 40 New Golf Courses and One of America’s Top 100 Best Residential Golf Courses.  This golf club includes two 18-hole Championship Courses: a Davis Love III Signature Golf Course and a Fred Couples Signature Golf Course. The Oaks:   The Chapel Hill Country Club is nestled in the middle of The Oaks in historic Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The center of the country club is it’s 18-hole golf course originally designed by Gene Hamm and re-designed in 1999 by John LaFoy. Single family homes start in the low $400’s. Chapel Hill

Chapel Ridge  The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge offers an 18-hole championship golf course designed by JMP Golf Design, Bob Moore, ASGCA  and Fred Couples. The rolling hills land located just south of Chapel Hill, NC was molded to be reminiscent of old traditional courses. Preston: The Prestonwood Country Club is nestled in the heart of the Preston neighborhood and members enjoy the widest array of golf amenities in the Triangle include 54 holes of championship golf, a new state of the art indoor golf learning center and recently renovated green complexes by Rick Robbins, a Jack Nicklaus protégé. After the renovations, all three courses were featured in the top 100 in North Carolina by NC Golf Panel. Preston features a wide-range of homes and has 33 communities surrounding the club. Cary

Holly Springs

Sunset Ridge:  Devils Ridge Golf Club is nestled in the award-winning Holly Springs community of Sunset Ridge. This is a challenging par-72 tract with four sets of tees designed by John LaFoy who took great care in melding this course with the spectacular natural setting spotted with majestic oaks, loblolly pines and dogwoods. This private club was awarded the Circle of Excellence award by Club Corp. 12 Oaks: Top 10 best new private course of 2009 by Golf Digest. This Nicklaus Desgined golf course features 18 holes set on an epic 7,132 plus yard course with undulating fairways and indigenous wetlands framing several holes. 12 Oaks was designed with Southern-style architecture in mind and with new construction starting in the 300’s and custom collections from the upper $550’s to $1 million. Glen Laurel  The Neuse Golf Club was awarded four and a half stars by Golf Digest for three years in a row and Business Week magazine honored the Neuse with as being the 2nd best public course to entertain business clients in North Carolina, second only to the famed Pinehurst #2. The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by John LaFoy. Located in Johnston County to the Southeast of the Triangle, Glen Laurel boasts affordable living with a first class golf course.

Riverwood Riverwood Golf Club is a championship layout set in the beautiful rolling terrain along the Neuse River in Clayton, NC. Golf Course Designer, David Postlethwait, created 27 holes of the most dramatic golf you can play in North Carolina.


Treyburn The scenic rolling Carolina hills were sculpted into a par 72 Championship Golf Course by Tom Fazio and was named “Best New Course” by Golf Digest in its inaugural year and was renovated in 2012. This upscale neighborhood in Northern Durham county is set in the middle of the North Carolina country side. Beautiful million dollar plus homes are featured in the neighborhood, with luxurious single family homes accenting them and more affordable townhomes tucked away with all the same neighborhood amenities.

Kerr Lake

Kerr Lake Set on the southeastern most end of Kerr Lake, north of Henderson, just off of interstate 85, the scenery of this Ricci Boni designed course has more than once been accused of breaking your concentration. If you are a first timer, slow down and enjoy the views. The slow rolling hills, tall pines and the legendary “white squirrels” will keep you coming back for more. While this club is not set in a neighborhood, it is just down the road from Satterwhite Point which starts the 800 miles of wooded shoreline that surround this 50,000 acre, man-made lake. Henderson

Lake Gaston

Lake Gaston The Lake Gaston Golf Club offers some of the finest golf recreation in Southside Virginia.  Located 17 miles from both I-95 and I-85 in Gasburg Virginia, the course offers an exceptional variety of holes that include wide open fairways, to challenging narrow “chutes”, to spectacular plateaus overlooking beautiful crystal clear lakes and ponds. This is a 18-hole regulation course designed by Bob Hendricks and opened in 1977. 


Walnut Creek: Since 1967, Walnut Creek Country Club has defined elegance, style and prestige in Eastern North Carolina. An impeccably manicured Ellis Maples-designed golf course is the centerpiece for this private club, which boasts extensive clay-court tennis facilities and pool area. The 18-hole  golf course was redesigned after Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
