Lake Myra Christmas Light Show will be returning November 21st until December 31st. It will feature more than 400,000 dancing lights which are synced up with holiday music. Shows will last between 30 and 45 minutes.
Wake Forest, NC:
Piper Lights will be returning November 23rd and will be on display until January 3rd recurring daily. This is a free family run light show that started 30 years ago. You are able to view the lights, visit Santa, ride the Santa Train, and visit the old-fashioned candy train.
The North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival will be returning to Koka Booth Amphitheatre from November 23rd to January 13th. There will be more than 20 displays made up of thousands of LED lights. A new addition this year will be cultural performances and artisan crafts.
Chapel Hill, NC:
Southern Season is hosting a Gingerbread House Class on November 24th at 12:00 and 3:00 pm. A blank house, a large assortment of candy, and a light snack will be provided.
On November 24th from 12:00-4:00 pm the African Sculpture and Crafts Market will be returning. You will be able to shop African crafts, fabrics, baskets, beaded crafts and sculptures. Proceeds support Anima’s Gift which provides educational and medical needs to children of Zimbabwe.
Perch’s Holiday Handmade Pop-Up will once again be held on November 24th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. Pottery, jewelry, stationary, artisan foods, skin-care products, clothing, and more made by locals will be available for purchase.
Durham Craft Market Shop Small will be coming to CCB Plaza on November 24th from 11:00 am-4:00 pm. Over 20 different Durham craft makers and artists will be in attendance. There will be items of pottery, paintings, textile art, photography, jewelry and more!
