Jen was an assistant principal at Holly Ridge Elementary until recently joining Coldwell Banker Advantage. Prior to working in Wake County Public School System, she enjoyed a successful real estate career in Wake County. In 2006, Jen earned the Bronze Award for Top Sales as a New Agent.  As an educator, she has a wealth of knowledge about the various schools and businesses in Southern Wake County, and can help guide you through the changes in school assignment plans.  She is dedicated to building relationships, one client at a time. This dedication to professionalism and networking has helped her build a successful business, selling over $3 million in real estate her first year alone.

Jennifer graduated from St. Lawrence University in New York with a M.Ed. in Counseling and has a C.A.S. in Education Administration from SUNY Oswego. Her undergraduate degree is in Economics and Business. She continues to take business and technology courses to best serve her clients with today's tech savvy real estate business.  She has completed the RRAR Code of Ethics training and Investment Property Sales. Jennifer moved here from upstate New York in 2006 with her husband, Ken, who is the Principal at East Chapel Hill High School. They have four children including: Brian, who lives in Marsaille, France; Alexis, a graduate of NCSU and Pilot; Cassie, Sophomore at CCCC; Jamie is attending HSHS.

 When she is not busy with real estate and volunteer work, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends at Jordan Lake.

We as a buyer wanted a realtor who can help us understand the house selling process and guide us all thru it.
We came to know about Jennifer from one of my friends whom she helped in listing his house and selling it.
When we met her, in our 1st meeting itself we realized that she is very experienced & has lot of passion for her job so we asked her to help us in selling our home too :-)

We worked with Jennifer as part of relocation. We are really disappointed with the work that was done. House was put on sale by August. We moved out of property to hotel temporarily by doing all the staging so that Jennifer gets time to sell the property and she can bring in more customers. Out of 3 months hardly 5 or 6 showing happened. I agree the fact that sometimes due to season , showing happen less but the price point that house was set was unreaLISTIC and this is because we were guided incorrectly. First time into house selling we relied on Jennifer to assist us n deciding the price, showing etc but we got no result. We have zero response , no marketing skills and finally we got a word as if you want to go to another realtor, we can go. That sentence disappointed my wife and we finally moved to another realtor which sold the house in 15 days and that too in december. By putting the house in August, if jennifer would have done right job, i would have sold the house 3 months before and gained few thousand dollars more.

Social Media suggests negative reviews can be beneficial when used as a resource to garner free market research and improve our business. I provide a full market analysis using MLS data and current market trends. Agents typically allow sellers to set the listing price based on their motivation to sell using two economic principles; Supply and Demand and Pricing vs Time on Market. A Strategic Market Analysis predicts the time required to sell at various prices. I ask sellers: “which is more important, setting a realistic price and selling quickly or setting a higher price that requires more time to market. If a seller prioritizes a higher price, the home will typically take a longer time to sell. If they need to sell quicker, then sellers will opt for a more realistic price. My goal is to help homeowners understand real estate trends & pricing strategies to maximize profits. I’m excited your agent reduced the price, marketed, and sold the home quickly.
