Have you ever seen someone who lights up a room? Meet Jessica Everett Wahler. Even though the mere suggestion would make her blush, the observation is true. She exudes positivity and a caring nature. Pair that with smarts, savvy and swift follow-up, and you’ve got the makings of a great real estate agent. “I like the idea of supporting and guiding people in their life journeys,” says Jessica, “and buying or selling a home certainly ranks up there as a momentous experience.”
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Advantage, Jessica worked in high-level fund-raising positions and then as a full-time Mom to two daughters. Jessica is committed to advocating for children with special needs and volunteering in her community. She served as a PTA President for two years and is a supporter of Special Olympics. She also assisted in the marketing and development of cookbooks for the Junior League of Raleigh and the N.C. Museum of History.
She is comfortable in positions of leadership and negotiating – skills that are especially useful in assisting her home buying and selling clients.
“I enjoy working with growing families and also folks who are at a place in their lives to downsize or retire,” Jessica says. “I am dedicated to go the extra mile to see a process through to successful completion.”
She adds, “The first inkling I had about real estate was 17 years ago when my husband and I bought a triplex instead of a single-family home after we married. Being interested in real estate investment bloomed out of that purchase.” Jessica’s husband has worked in real estate management for about 20 years. The family, including rescue dog Miss Jane, make their home in the Flowers Plantation community of Clayton.
Originally from Ayden, Jessica says she is proud of her “Down East roots.” She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in public administration from East Carolina University.
When not working, she enjoys spending time at the beach. “My best day,” she says, “is one spent on an 21-foot skiff, sandbar hopping and shell seeking on Bogue Sound.”
