I am one of the proud and few Triangle natives. I was born in Durham NC, raised in Chapel Hill NC. After making Apex my home for 17 years we have moved back to Chapel Hill. I remember when Eastern Airlines was the only flight out of RDU and when the population of Chapel Hill was less than the enrollment of UNC.
I grew up around race cars which makes me a huge racing fan, whether it’s stock car, drag racing or open wheel. I married my high school sweetheart, Steve, who shared with me this love of golf. We have 2 wonderful children, both in college. And we were just getting used to empty nester life when God brought us a “bonus baby”. Our 2-year-old niece Hailey, is now the newest member of our family.
As proud parents, we don’t miss the opportunity to brag about our children. Our daughter, Charlotte is a graduate student working towards her PhD in physic at the University of Notre Dame. And our son is a student at Southern Illinois University, majoring in Bio-Chemistry and Pre-med. And the baby Hailey is growing like a weed and amazing us each and every day. (Yes, we are starting over! Yes, we love every minute. And wow! How parenting has changed in 20 years!) I really should start a blog to share our adventures in “Parenting 2.0”
One of my favorite mottos is “Been there, done that, then scrapped a page about it!”. I am an avid scrapbooker who loves to travel. I enjoy creating a book of memories after each adventure, Don’t be surprised when I take your picture at the closing table or in front of your new home for my scrapbook.
I love sharing my knowledge of the Triangle with everyone by giving them an inside view of what the area has to offer. There are so many great nooks and crannies to discover. I believe in relationships. And relationships start with some common ground. My goal is to turn every client into a friend.
Oh! And let’s not forget the 4 legged babies,
Sally and Maverick!
I was very pleased with my experience selling a house with Cathy as my agent. She was helpful when it came to determining the asking price and necessary updates before listing. Our move was associated with a relocation and she went above and beyond to make that process smooth. I always felt that she had our best interests at heart. -Deanna, VA
Cathy was outstanding. I was going through a marriage separation and had to sell my house and purchase a new one. She handled it very professional. Cathy had to deal with both of us ( not on good speaking terms ) and she communicated to both of us. She made the process very easy for me. With everything else I had going on, she made the transition very smooth for me. After the house was sold, she quickly proceeded in helping me find a new home. Cathy knew my needs and what I was looking for. We found a new home and I am extremely happy.
I would recommend her to anyone looking for a house to sell or purchase.-Karolyn, Rolesville
I love this gal- she was the best realtor ever!!!! The entire process was fun - no stress - I got everything and then some that I wanted. She gave me pointers, helped me where I didn't know and continues to check in after the fact. I have already given her cards out to some people so we'll see. -Debra, Siler City
