Born and raised in New Jersey, I grew up playing sports, spending most weekends at the Jersey Shore, and enjoyed our frequent family trips into NYC where my dad worked. Although I was a Jersey Girl at heart, I ventured out to the Midwest for College and became a "Hoosier” and spent the next 4 years in Bloomington at Indiana University (GO IU). Next stop Rutgers University for Graduate School and then straight into NYC where I started my career as a Health Care Administrator.
For the next 17 years I had the opportunity in assisting with the design, creating programs/policies, marketing plans, budgeting goals and full operations of Senior Housing developments. During my career my husband, Chad ( NC native) and I moved right here to Cary, NC. After relocating 15 years ago, starting a family (two girls Hannah and Ava), switching careers and becoming a local small business owner, and turning 40 all lead me to re-evaluating my worth and my vision. This led me to this very moment... creating Alala Realty.
So much has changed in the world and truly made me reconfirm my belief which is home is truly where the heart is and when living in the right home you have the foundation to take that leap of faith and conquer the crazy world out there! With the support of my family, the love of our community, and true desire to successfully guide families through one of the biggest changes in their life, moving. With Raleigh being one of the top markets in our industry and my true love and belief in this human, I was honored and excited when my colleague and, Courtney I agreed to combine forces and create The Realhouse Brokers, powered by Coldwell Banker Advantage. I don't even know where to begin with the amount of happiness and gratitude I have for Denise. Denise came to my husband and me when we were at a severe crossroads with our previous realtor. She took the time to interview (WHILE ON VACATION!!) and continued to answer every question we had. When we say it was one of the best decisions we made, we mean it. Denise was an integral part of the amazing journey my family undertook at the very beginning of 2022 to move our horse property across the country from Colorado to North Carolina. We connected via a Facebook post I made in January looking for recommendations on all things living in North Carolina with horses the good the bad and the muddy. She commented and we spoke on the phone the next day and the rest is history. We became fast friends, she really understood what was important to me and worked with me completely remotely as we researched areas. I know our situation was not ideal as we were almost to flexible in where we lived and ultimately ended up choosing a property near Charlotte while Denise is near Raleigh. But she went above and beyond driving out there to the place and doing a multi hour video tour of the property with the seller and me as I was still in Colorado. It's crazy to think I bought a place sight unseen and love it but I did. I know I couldn't have done without all that Denise and Courtney did for us over the course of 7 months. I would strongly suggest using Denise Alala as your Realtor. I had not bought a house in 13 years and Denise gave me all the ins and outs about what to expect as well as the confidence to go through the process. These two ladies knocked on my door and did the same pitch. The only difference was they not only did what they said they would do, but they exceeded my expectations. I have never seen two ladies promote and market a house as well as they did, please trust me when I say these girls were fantastic.
