I also believe in the importance of always expanding my own education about this industry and staying on top of how I can best assist my clients. Because of this I hold the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) certification which means that I am a certified Buyers Agent. I know what it takes to give the best representation to my Buyers and I make sure that they are protected and get the best possible care and guidance in the buying process. I’m also a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), this certification helps me in working with senior clients. I know what some of the special needs are for senior citizens and I make sure that these needs are addressed. I go the extra mile and make the relocation as seamless as possible. I’m also a Graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI).
I’m a native of Brooklyn, New York but have lived most of my life here in Chapel Hill. I love “The Southern Part of Heaven” and enjoy selling real estate in Chapel Hill, Durham, Orange and Chatham counties.

Barbara helped sell my 88 year old mother's house in NC. After we met with her in person a couple of times, the entire rest of the transactions were done with us some 1000 miles or so away. Despite that, Barbara kept us in constant communications with how the sale was progressing. Her recommendations on work needed to get the house ready to sell were spot on. In the end we got an offer for more than the asking price and the closing went without a hitch. We were extremely happy with the service Barbara provided and would highly recommend her to anyone.
Barbara is an Amazing realtor! She is detail oriented, persists with challenges, is a terrific problem solver and communicator, and is highly ethical. I’ve never experienced this level of professionalism and help during other real estate transactions. Barbara exceeded my expectations in every respect.
I lived in my Carrboro house for decades. My goal was to hire a realtor who would help ready my house, so I could move out of state and put my house on the market once I was gone. What a lofty goal! I really needed a \u201Chands on\u201D realtor, and boy did I choose well.
From the moment Barbara walked into my house, her attention to detail made me feel like I would be in good hands. I was never disappointed in her efforts. Initially she helped me plan and choose cost effective items to spiff up my house. When unexpected repairs were needed (from 2 hurricanes and way too much rain), Barbara quickly found solutions. She found repairmen, scheduled repairs, and met them at the house. One repairman was a dud; once realized, she stepped up and found excellent people who got the work done promptly.
My stove died while on the market. Because Barbara had signed me up for free appliance coverage, it was a tiny cost to me! She did all the stove research, found and met an installer, and communicated with the insurance company. Barbara routinely visited my empty house to be sure it was in top condition; she even vacuumed and mopped the kitchen floor!
Ethically, she is the best. She found a prospective buyer but passed them to a coworker so she could exclusively help me with the offer. She advised me during the whole process, but I always felt in charge.
Barbara valued me and my house. She always had time to communicate. Overall I couldn’t have made a better choice.
Barbara worked with us on finding a home that was almost impossible to find, but she did it! She was a fantastic agent to work with and I would recommend her to anyone who is in the market!
