As a realtor, Laurie is knowledgeable, experienced, and proactive. She answered every question we had about housing in RTP and the home buying process, and told us very useful things we didn’t even know to ask. She set up a streamlined process for us to easily view and like homes, and helped us refine our search as she began to see what we were and weren’t interested in. She had a deep understanding of market conditions and the home buying process. I recommend her highly.

Laurie is amazing! She always, always has her clients’ best interest at heart. She is genuine, so knowledgeable and makes the process incredibly easy. I highly recommend Laurie for buying or selling a home! We worked with Laurie to rent a house when we first moved to the Triangle. Then she helped us buy our home in Cary. This year, she helped us sell our home as we relocated out of state. Laurie is such a pleasure to work with. She's professional, responds promptly, and is always prepared with the right information. She went absolutely above and beyond helping us make sure repairs were done on our home since we had already moved out of state. In tense situations, Laurie stays calm and professional to diffuse the situation. She's easy to communicate with and knows her stuff. I would absolutely recommend Laurie for any real estate needs in the Triangle.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Laurie Marcey is as a realtor and as a person. Her level of professionalism, her responsiveness, and her expertise as a realtor made her an absolutely joy to work with. The circumstances surrounding our home buying process were stressful (7-9 months pregnant, plus an incredibly competitive housing market), but that did not hinder Laurie. Her promptness to requests to see potential houses as soon as they came on the market, coupled with her knowledge of the local housing market made it possible for us to find our perfect home. Laurie is persistent and does not give up until her clients find their perfect home/sell their home (she represented us for both). Should we find ourselves needing to sell or buy another home, Laurie will be our go-to girl! She is truly an outstanding realtor!

Laurie is amazing. We were friends with her before entering the home buying process and there's no one else we'd work with for buying or selling in the Triangle. She got what we were looking for, was super available for showings, and really put us at ease. Everyone has always told me that buying a house is a bear. Fortunately, I had Laurie Marcey to help.I came into the home buying process with absolutely zero knowledge of what buying a house actually meant. Thankfully, Laurie was there from the get go. My wife, Kim, and I met Laurie for dinner well before we were ready to actually purchase a house. We let Laurie know this up front and she was patient, informative, and attentive to our needs and wants. From the very first meeting, Kim and I knew that we were in great hands. Laurie never pressured us but was critical in making sure Kim and I were always on track in the home buying process. Showing after showing, she learned from each previous showing to determine what we liked and disliked for future visits. When we thought we had settled on a location (where no houses were on the market) she even went as far as writing letters to the neighborhood in case anything opened up. She consistently went the extra mile.In fact, it was this mile that got us into the home we love today. Early in the process we had mentioned a neighborhood we liked but there were no townhouses available. Even though we had said we wanted to start with a townhouse, Laurie probed us to look at a detached home in the same neighborhood. Within 3 hours of the showing, we put an offer on the house. I was able to be open and honest with Laurie about the offer, and she let me know what she did and did not think was fair. 3 days later, the house was ours!The process didn't stop there and Laurie was on us to make sure all of our ducks were in a row. She lined up the inspections and other necessary tasks, and gave recommendations on what we should and shouldn't do. All of her connections were of the same standards as Laurie, so everything went without a hitch. By the time move in day was ready, I was confused as to why everyone said the home buying process was such a pain.I cannot and definitely do not thank Laurie enough for the tremendous efforts she gave for Kim and me. Because of this, I never hesitate to recommend anyone even thinking about starting a home search. THANK YOU SO MUCH LAURIE!!!!

Laurie was such a pleasure to work with. She is so knowledgeable about real estate, but also very trustworthy and down-to-earth. I asked her a million questions, as this was my first time buying a home. She walked me and my husband through the process and made sure we understood each step. She really made us feel comfortable and confident in all of our choices. I absolutely loved working with her and I would recommend her to anyone!!

Laurie helped my husband and I buy our first home. She met with us within a few days of contacting her about buying a home and explained the process in detail. She answered all our questions and was very respectful, polite, and always willing to explain. Since it was our first home we had a ton of questions, and she always responded in a way that made us feel like we were important and that she had plenty of time. Laurie was quick to respond by email as well as phone. We never had any issues with communication. She kept us up to date and informed at all times. She was also very accommodating and always worked with our schedules to show us houses. Near the end of our closing process, we began to have serious issues with our mortgage company. Laurie was a huge help during that. She stayed in constant contact with us and the mortgage company and requested constant updates from them. She made sure they were doing their job and did a fantastic job of representing us. She made the entire process bearable and was a tremendous help. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, time oriented, and reliable. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Laurie to anyone trying to buy or sell a home.

Laurie was extremely helpful as I searched for a home. Before we even got started she took the time to sit down and walk me through the entire house purchase process so that when the time came I would be prepared. She always responded very quickly to any inquiries I had about properties and was available at a moments notice to get me in for a showing. Once we finally made an offer, she was constantly there to provide knowledge and necessary contacts for all the purchasing tasks. She made the process very smooth and easy and I would HIGHLY recommend her as a realtor to anyone.
