John and his wife, Katherine, live in Lewisville with their daughter Laura and dog Roscoe.
John enjoys spending his free time with family and friends. His hobbies include computers, grilling, and watching sports.
John holds a B.S. in Communications from Appalachian State and an MBA from Winston Salem State Univeristy. He is a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity and Gamma Beta Sigma Honor Fraternity.
John is an adjunct Professor at Winston- Salem State University, an Exchange / SCAN board member, a member of the Rotary Club of Winston Salem, a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, a Freemason, a Shriner, and a former town council member for Lewisville, NC.
John holds the following real estate designations - Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), EcoBroker, Certified Negotiation Specialist (CNS).
He was named a "40 Leaders under 40" in 2000 by the Triad Business Journal.
John is the Team Leader of MKT Real Estate Group and also hosts Real Estate Radio on WSJS, a weekly live radio show focusing on Winston-Salem Real Estate since August of 2008.
John was voted as Winston-Salem's Best Realtor by Winston-Salem Journal in 2015.
