When my husband received a job offer that required us to relocate from MO to NC in a month, we were nervous that we wouldn't be able to find a new home in such a limited amount of time. But April made it happen! We had one weekend to tour as many homes as we could in the Raleigh, Rocky Mount, and Wilson areas. Since we were new to the area, we wanted to check out a vast range of neighborhoods. We're so appreciative that April was willing to make those long drives. My wife and I have moved using realtors about 20 times. April Auman is the best we've ever dealt with, hands down. Hard-working, intelligent, experienced, attentive to detail but able to see the larger picture, developed a great understanding of what we were looking for, gave us sage advice on how to win the bid for the home we wanted, helped manage the details with the rapid financing necessary, went above and beyond to work issues for us to facilitate the move, and continued to advise and support us for weeks after the closing. I don't know what more she could have done to make the sale, move, and transition to a new neighborhood successful. If you're able to use April as your realtor, run, don't walk, to sign her up.

We can’t say enough about the help and guidance that April provided us in our home buying experience. Most recently we had an issue with our new home and April took the time to help us though the process of resolving it. Keep in mind that this was on a late Friday evening and 2 months after closing. That is the type of agent she is. April consistently went above and beyond to assist us in our home search. I had the best experience with April Auman as my realtor. I started my home buying journey before moving to NC and April was such a help before we had ever met in person. She went on house tours and would FaceTime with me, giving me the best advice from her perspective. When I did pick a house and met her in person she made sure to keep me updated in all processes, even through some tough spots. Even today, 3months after closing, she always takes the time to check in and see how I’m doing. If I have any home owning questions I know she is still available and willing to share her knowledge. April was an amazing agent for us. She went above and beyond any agent we have ever had in the past when selling our home. From the first meeting, she walked through the house with us and made wonderful suggestions on how to stage. The listing she prepared included high quality pictures and videos that showed amazingly and descriptions that pointed out all of the positive features of our house. Her preparation for the open house was mind boggling and even included feature notes that she had throughout the house. We even had a cash offer for 20% over asking price the day before the open house. I highly recommend April to anyone selling their home. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with April for a little over 9 months (from when we reached out to closing of our home). I won't say it wasn't difficult or full of stress for my wife and I, but April made the entire process run so much more smoothly for us. She was not only knowledgeable and friendly, she was also instrumental in helping us get into our home. We moved across the country and needed to do nearly all of our business virtually. April was our eyes and ears, and did everything she could to represent us as if we were there in person. Her insight was invaluable to us as we are not the most experienced home buyers. We ended up getting into a home that was being built, and she went to the orientations, walk-throughs, and met with our builder while keeping us included via webcam. She was on point with every detail and made sure we got the best deal possible all while acting in our best interest. She knew how to negotiate with builders and got us the best deals possible. If memory serves, every detail we asked her opinion on, she ended up being correct in every situation we encountered. And we had a lot of questions! She was organized, perfectly punctual, communicated with us every detail, and was fun to work with to boot. We could not give more praise or recommend her enough. On a scale from 1 to 10, she is an 11! She is honest and savvy, and in the real-estate business, that is a true diamond in the rough. We loved working with her and are now our family is thoroughly enjoying our new home. We were moving from half the country away in Des Moines, Iowa to Raleigh in early 2022. Fortunately we were able to engage April for our home search. April invested her time to know us and our likes and dislikes, showed us potential neighborhoods and assessed our tastes. Even in the tight and very competitive market, we closed a great home in Cary on February 14, 2022 within budget and within time and we are proud and delighted to call it home. The kids love it and we enjoy seeing them in it. She knows the market very well and was able to steer us to the best areas for us. She understood what items appealed to us and what didn't. She provided us with invaluable advice which ultimately led to our offer being accepted (even when there were multiple other offers on the property). I can't say enough good things about my experience with April Auman. I was on a pretty tight timeline as I needed to have my house sold by the end of 2018. We only started the process in October. She quickly assessed what we needed to do to get the house ready to sell - she outlined what was a 'must do' versus what was a 'good to do' if we wanted to try to sell the house for more money. When she went over all of the initial paperwork, she explained everything in language that was easy to understand and was very open to questions and concerns. She did a huge amount of market research and comps to determine how to price the house appropriately so it would sell quickly. Once we completed the work on the house on Wednesday, 11/7, April jumped into action. She had an open house scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, when we had only put it on the market on Thursday. She did a full marketing press to get the house and the open house out as much as possible. Because of her dedication and tenacity, we had four offers on the house by the end of the weekend. Her efforts did not stop once we accepted the offer. She continued to do all of the work in the background dealing with the closing attorney and any issues that needed handled. I felt completely confident in April's ability and was so grateful that I didn't have to worry about all of that during a time of high stress in my life. The house closed on 12/12/18! I would highly recommend April to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. I can guarantee you will be thrilled with her!!

I met April two years ago when considering a move to the area from Massachusetts. We were not ready to buy at that time, but she happily took me on showings and this was incredibly helpful as I looked at various real estate listings. Because we lived far away, this was so important and we had some familiarity with the various neighborhoods. April did not pressure us and continued to send us listings that we might be interested in. This past December, my daughter and family were planning a permanent relocation to the area and we were ready to move forward. In the current market, we ended up moving very fast. We hired April, the next day she did a facetime showing of a home in The Governors Club in Chapel Hill that just hit the market and she was crucial in advising us on how to proceed with an offer. The amount of trust we put in her to guide us would have been difficult without our prior experience with her two years ago. We were successful and April helped guide us through the process. I am so grateful to have had April assist me with the sale of my home. I was introduced to April when I went to see an open house that her agency was hosting. I was extremely impressed with the showmanship and presentation of that home. It was simply breath taking and I wanted my house to look like that. April was very knowledgeable and surpassed my expectation with listing my home. She is very detailed oriented. Helped us out with every step of the home buying process. She provides a binder at the end with all of your home buying details so you can access later when needed.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with April Auman. I was on a pretty tight timeline as I needed to have my house sold by the end of 2018. We only started the process in October. She quickly assessed what we needed to do to get the house ready to sell - she outlined what was a 'must do' versus what was a 'good to do' if we wanted to try to sell the house for more money. When she went over all of the initial paperwork, she explained everything in language that was easy to understand and was very open to questions and concerns. She did a huge amount of market research and comps to determine how to price the house appropriately so it would sell quickly. Once we completed the work on the house on Wednesday, 11/7, April jumped into action. She had an open house scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, when we had only put it on the market on Thursday. She did a full marketing press to get the house and the open house out as much as possible. Because of her dedication and tenacity, we had four offers on the house by the end of the weekend. Her efforts did not stop once we accepted the offer. She continued to do all of the work in the background dealing with the closing attorney and any issues that needed handled. I felt completely confident in April's ability and was so grateful that I didn't have to worry about all of that during a time of high stress in my life. The house closed on 12/12/18! I would highly recommend April to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home. I can guarantee you will be thrilled with her!!

I have been fortunate enough to work with April on two occasions. Once in looking for a property in the Raleigh area and once in finding a second home that I purchased at the beach. She worked with me to sift through a huge list of properties and find options that fit my budget, but more importantly my real needs. It is so easy to get caught up in the excitement and lose sight of the 'gotchas' along the way. The entire time I felt like she was more interested in protecting me than trying to just sell me a house. Trust in someone is hard enough to find, but finding it with someone involved with such a large transaction is extremely rare. She consistently brought me alternatives that were actually responsive to my initial wish list. There was never an attempt to 'upsale' me and she was more responsive to my questions than any agent I have ever known. I have close family relationships with 2 very tenured and well-respected agents, but I am currently using April to list/sell my home and show me rental properties. Not only does April know how to effectively use all of the new digital trends and resources to ensure my house gets a ton of exposure on every social media site, etc., but she just completed a thorough market analysis of similar homes in my neighborhood that sold quickly or sat on the market for months to make sure we list it right on point.
