Personal: I was born and raised in High Point and I love this town. There are so many exciting things happening here. It's so fun to show High Point to someone new...our Uptowne area, the Truist Point stadium, Congdon Yards, the Stock and Grain food hall (our new office) and The Qubein Childrens museum as well as all of our outdoor green space and trails.
I have been married to Charlie for 30 years and have 2 children. Chase who is 26 and in IT in High Point and Lilly, who is 23 and works at Michael Mitchell in Charleston. Both kids and I were "lifers" at Westchester and are still involved there.
I am also the President of High Point Furniture Market Services, renting homes for the semi-annual High Point Market for over 20 years.

We could not be happier with our experience with Elizabeth Sheffield. Being first-time home buyers, we initially found the process daunting and overwhelming. As we navigated the process, Elizabeth learned that we did not have a mortgage broker, home inspector or closing attorney and each time she immediately gave solid referrals! Each person we worked with, referred by Elizabeth, was professional, understanding, patient with us being first time home buyers, attentive and quick to respond! Having that guidance was invaluable to us! As we began to visit homes we were interested in, it was incredible to see how knowledgeable and experienced she was when it came to the neighborhood and price point we were considering. She was quick to discuss the pros (and sometimes cons) of each home and she never said what we wanted to hear - she said what we needed to hear. Elizabeth was understanding of all our questions - and never made us feel like any of our questions were dumb. Because she had so thoroughly educated and prepared us to be ready to write a strong offer, by that evening we had our offer submitted, negotiations started, and the home under contract within 24 hours of first seeing it. Elizabeth was a partner with us through the entire negotiation process and always had our best interests in mind. Because of her patience, her hard work and follow through we were able to close on our perfect first home within five weeks and are able to happily write this referral as wait on the movers to arrive! From showing me numerous houses (even when I was still 6 months from purchasing) to leading me all the way through the process, Elizabeth knocked it out of the park. If you were to look up the name Elizabeth Sheffield in the dictionary, what you would find would be the description . . . patient, encouraging, honest, positive, knowledgeable, and downright rockin'! My story is a typical one for our "seller market" times (as I was a buyer). A very frustrating and depressing period that spanned almost two years. But Elizabeth stuck with me and was always supportive and leading me towards victory in my new home, which is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Just like Elizabeth, whom I will definitely recommend! Now you will have to excuse me while I go out and swing in my swing, on my deck, adoring my wonderful roses now in full bloom!
