I began my Real Estate career in 2005 and over the past ten years I have found great pride and joy in helping my clients navigate the path of buying or selling a home. Real estate is all about relationships and knowledge. I strive to build a sincere relationship with my clients and guide them through their real estate transaction with my extensive knowledge of the process.
I am a North Carolina Native and have made Cary my home for over 20 years. I grew up in one of the most the beautiful places on the planet, the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I graduated from Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC with a degree in Liberal Arts. I then left the tranquil mountain life to pursue my dreams in the big city of Charlotte. There I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned my BA in English, graduating with honors and met my future husband.
My husband, John and I relocated to the Triangle in the early 90’s to pursue our careers and begin a family. We have twin sons that are now in College and our youngest son attends Apex High School. My children have attended private, year around, and traditional schools. I am very familiar with navigating the Wake County school choices. I am also very familiar with all of the wonderful parks and the abundance of family friendly activities offered in the Triangle.
When I am not helping my wonderful clients, I can usually be found on the tennis courts. I did not pick up a tennis racket until the youthful age of 40. But once I began playing, I was hooked. Cary has an amazing 30 court tennis park. It was there that I began playing tennis with adult beginner lessons and found fun and friendships that continue to grow. I am a very active in the local tennis community and usually captain multiple USTA teams each season. My tennis is not limited to just the Cary league. Most seasons I play on teams in Cary, Raleigh, and Durham. Not only do I match buyers up with their dream homes, I match players up with teams.
Robin is the agent you can only hope to work with. We had worked with others before that didnt seem to listen to our needs. She just helped us buy our new home in Zebulon. She is very knowledgeable about the housing market and is an incredible resource. She aided us through tough negotiations in the due diligence process and has at her resources very qualified inspectors and repair consultants. We knew as much about the home we were buying as possible and what repair cost would be. So it aided us so much to know the home we were about to buy. We went from being uncertain to confident we made the right choice. I was amazed at how responsive she was to our every need. It's nothing more important than trusting the person you are working with and she was there from day one to closing. We now concider her our friend. Thank you so much.
I have bought and sold many houses and have dealt with many realtors. Without question, Robin exceeded all the other agents I have used in past transactions. This past summer, Robin was my realtor when I was searching for a home to purchase. I am very picky -- so Robin showed me many homes. I never felt pressured to purchase and most importantly, I could always count on her honest, straightforward feedback, and her knowledge and expertise in the area and real estate market. With her help, I finally found the perfect home and relied on her skills to effect a smooth purchase and closing experience. I very highly recommend her.
We had a great experience working with Robin, starting with the fact that we had an offer for our house the same week it went on the market. After the inspection, our buyer requested a number of minor repairs, but we had already moved out of the area. Robin went the extra mile to make sure all the items on the buyer’s checklist were addressed, and our house closed on schedule.
